Dragoon was cavalary branch of Civil War. The crossed sabers on the Cavalry hat or cap are placed with upturned edges, as were on the caps of Dragoons. I have dedicated this painting to my late husbnd's memory. Robert was a historian and aCivil War buff. I have implemented a 3 D effect with recycled glass.
